Which languages?
English, 日本語, 中文, 한국어, Filipino, Bahasa Indonesia, हिन्दी, Français, Tiếng Việt and မြန်မာ. Everyone picks their own, and what one person writes, the other reads in theirs.
Is this for keeping an eye on the helper?
No. No location tracking, no camera watching, no clocking in. Employers see the marks a helper makes (done, bought, reminder checked), how far they’ve read in the family chat, and the messages they send. Employers can’t see whether a helper has opened their brief. What your helper says to KATIA doesn’t appear on the employer’s screen. KATIA doesn’t use those chats to write the family’s stories, or turn them into house-rule drafts for the employer. Stories are built from the family’s records, like a job checked off or an event added, and from what’s said in the family chat. A card in a chat is seen only by the person it’s for.
Whose data is it?
It belongs to the family. Your helper can’t see the family’s Stories, and the employer decides what KATIA treats as fact.
What if we get a new helper?
The family memory stays. Your new helper’s first day starts with everything already in it.
Can my partner use it too?
Yes. Once invited, they get the morning and evening briefs in their language, plus what KATIA noticed overnight. Even while travelling, they can add to the family calendar just by telling KATIA.
What if this month’s share runs out?
If you have pack credits, they keep things going. If not, the AI features pause until next month. Nothing is deleted. The lists and the calendar keep working, and so do messages between the family and your helper, and their translation.
How is it different from WhatsApp?
Nothing gets buried in the chat. Messages arrive in the other person’s language. It remembers what was said. And it notices things before anyone mentions them.
What if KATIA gets it wrong?
It shows up as a card right there, and one tap undoes it. And only the employer can turn something into a house rule.
Does my helper use their own phone?
Yes. Once invited, your helper uses KATIA on their own phone, in their own language.
